After scoping discussions with IBM, the vendor for the Spectrum Scale storage system, components for the high performance storage have arrived on-site and a dedicated team of engineers are undertaking the responsibilities for testing the new system.
We have progressed into Phase 3 of the Wellcome Leap Q4Bio project, as one of six final performers! The Quantum Pangenomics collaboration has been allocated a further $1M in funding to pursue the execution of the algorithms road-tested in simulation during Phase 2 on current quantum hardware.
